Aims:

We aim for our children to feel motivated, inspired and excited about learning and through the delivery of our Careers and Employability programme we help them  to develop skills which will support them across all areas of the curriculum .

We plan for our children to engage in exciting, enterprising projects and enable our pupils to discover more about the working world and how they fit into our community

We use the Skills Builder Framework to develop listening, speaking, problem solving, creativity, aiming high, leadership and teamwork

Through the teaching of careers and employability skills, we aim to boost the confidence of all of our pupils, raise their career aspirations and increase their future opportunities

Through teaching about the world of work, we believe this will help our pupils to believe in their own abilities and gain an understanding of what life is like beyond the classroom

Pupils are provided with a wide range of role models from the world of work to inspire and teach them to follow their dreams and aspirations Pupils are encouraged to discover what working life is like in the wider world, and to believe that anything is possible and achievable.
